(Actually, the recipe comes from Kaye's brother (MAX) who lives in Kaye's hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas - So it's REAL Texas Soup!!!!)

INGREDIENTS:

1 LB MEAT (Ground Beef or Ground Turkey OR leave it out for a 'meatless' soup).

1 LARGE ONION (Chopped)

1 T CHILI POWDER

1 PACKAGE TACO MIX (Seasoning)

1 PACKAGE RANCH DRESSING (Dry)

1 CAN 'RO TEL' DICED TOMATOES & GREEN CHILIES (Mild or Hot - to suite your taste!)

1 CAN (14.5 Oz.) STEWED TOMATOES

1 CAN  (14.5 Oz.) PINTO BEANS

1 CAN (14.5 Oz.) 'RANCH STYLE' BEANS

1 CAN (14.5 Oz.) 'WHITE'  HOMINY

1 CAN (14.5 Oz.) 'YELLOW'  HOMINY

1 CUP WATER (Beer preferred - If you can spare it!)

SIMMER FOR 15 MINUTES

This recipe makes 'quite a bit' of soup, but it keeps well in the refrig or freezer, but - it won't last long as it's GOOD!
